The Philadelphia Firebirds were a minor league professional ice hockey team from 1974 to 1977 in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). The franchise later moved to Syracuse, New York, and played one final season as the Syracuse Firebirds. After the NAHL folded in 1977, the Firebirds joined the American Hockey League before ceasing operations entirely in 1980.
